In conjunction with writing novels and poetry, Nik C. Colyer spent the past thirty-three years creating hand-wrought, one-of-a-kind sculptural designs in Gold and Silver that he sold as jewelry at West Coast art shows.

Since his writing career now carries the financial burden, three years ago Nik retired from the art show circuit and started building his new studio. Now that the studio is finished, Nik concentrates his sculptural time creating individual designs in 14k gold using precious and semi-precious natural stones. He forms the designs directly in the metal using torches, hammers, files, saws, texturing, forming and polishing tools.
