Communication between the Sexes:
“Each day we have an opportunity to learn about and honor the speaking style of the opposite sex, and yet we continue to try and squeeze the other into our narrow view of communication.”

‘Biker Bob’ rumbles into your neighborhood.
“A woman wants a man to stand up to her without turning to stone.” So says Harley-riding spirit-guide, Biker Bob. ” One job of the warrior is to face a woman’s intensity without taking on her anger, belittling her, or allowing the situation to become violent.”
When Colyer started writing his playful fourth novel, “Channeling Biker Bob”, he never anticipated that it would speak so strongly on issues of relationship.
Nik says, “I was interested in writing a fast moving, compelling adventure that would remain with my readers long after they finished the final page. I wanted to tweak the reader’s perception of men, relationships, and introduce them to that special breed of Harley rider, the ‘one percent of one percent’ bikers.
Though the novel, “Channeling Biker Bob” is fictional, Colyer admits that like all writers, there is a bit of his own life experience woven through the pages of the story. Finding equilibrium between the tough biker, while continuing to stay close to authentic masculine feeling, is a theme throughout “Channeling Biker Bob”, and much of Colyer’s writings.
